If you are scheduling a trip to Washington, D.C., we can help maximize your visit. Specifically, we can help arrange tours of the U.S. Capitol, and request tours of the White House and other government buildings around the city.
Subject to availability, we will work directly with the Capitol Visitor Center to secure a time for a tour of the Capitol. The White House and other government buildings, however, maintain a separate tour scheduling system. We can serve as a one-stop-shop to pass your requests along to those venues. Tickets to outside venues in particular are limited and allocated on a first-come, first-served basis, so the earlier you can begin your planning, the better. Please fill out the tour request form below and return it to us as early as possible to improve your chances of securing the venues of your choice.
For White House tickets specifically, I suggest you request your tickets at least three (3) months in advance. We will transmit your request as quickly as possible, but please note that White House tours are in high demand and not guaranteed. They can also be subject to last minute changes depending on potential changes in the White House schedule. Here are more details from the White House website about their tour request process:
“Public tour requests must be submitted through one’s Member of Congress. These self-guided tours are available from 7:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Tuesday through Thursday, 7:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays (excluding federal holidays or unless otherwise noted). Tour hours will be extended when possible based on the official White House schedule. Tours are scheduled on a first come, first served basis. Requests can be submitted up to three months in advance and no less than 21 days in advance. You are encouraged to submit your request as early as possible as a limited number of spaces are available. All White House tours are free of charge. (Please note that White House tours may be subject to last minute cancellation.)” – White House Tours website
